Technorama 2019

From vision to innovation!

“Technorama” is an international event that invites representatives of science and business to gather at Kaunas University of Technology.

The event includes an exhibition of the inventions of young creators and B2B meetings with innovators and innovative companies. Each year the exhibition invites more than 2000 visitors and more than 60 researchers from different universities present their innovations.

“Technorama” will celebrate its eighteen birthday in 2019!

The event will take place on 9th May 2019, at KTU “Santaka Valley”, K. Baršausko st. 59, Kaunas

Registration is closed. Organizers will contact participants by mail.

Privacy notice

Data processor and organizer of event Technorama 2019 is Kaunas University of Technology (hereinafter – University), code 111950581, K. Donelaičio str. 73, 44249 Kaunas.

In order to receive more information about data protection, please write to privacy@ktu.lt

2.1. We will collect the information needed to organize the event, to inform about the research areas and the authors of the research, to inform the public about the event. The data collected will not be used for any other purpose.

 

2.2. Data type, publicity and data storage

Personal data that is included in participant registration form:

  • Name and Surname of the participant. The purpose of data collection is to identify the author (s) of the work. The data will be presented in public. Data storage time – 2 months after the end of the event.
  • Email of the participant. The purpose of data collection is to contact the author (s) of the project. Data will not be presented in public. Data storage time – 2 months after the end of the event.
  • Participant work area and work description. The purpose of data collection is to identify the author (s) of the project. The data will be made public. Data storage time – 2 months after the end of the event.
  • Institution / department / faculty represented by the participant. The purpose of data collection is to identify the author (s) of the work. The data will be presented in public. Data storage time – 2 months after the end of the event.

 

2.3. Name, Surname, email, work area, institution / department / faculty and work description will be announced public in: Technorama event catalogue, webpages and social networks of University, Startup Space and Technorama event.

For the purpose of printing the catalogue, the printing house will get data that will be presented in public.

For the public information purposes, the event will be photographed and filmed so the participants can be seen in photos and videos. Photos and videos of the event will be posted in Technorama catalogue, KTU, Startup Space and Technorama websites, and in Facebook / Instagram accounts, newsletters and public media channels.

5.1. To have the ability to get know their personal data.

5.2. Require to correct inaccurate and/or incorrect personal data.

5.3. Prohibit the collection and processing of personal data at any time.

5.5. You can apply for rights or for additional information at privacy@ktu.lt

6.1. Participant can register at the event Technorama 2019 only after the acquaintance and confirmation that he/she is informed and agrees with this Privacy Notice. The confirmation is provided by clicking relevant checkbox in the registration form.

6.2. The University shall comply with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union when handling the Customer’s personal data.

6.3. The University has the right to change and / or supplement this Privacy Notice at any time.
