TECHNORAMA’22 Virtual Exhibition
You’ll present your idea in live exhibition on May 26th., from 10 am to 4 pm, in KTU Santaka Valley, K. Baršausko str. 59, Kaunas .
1 m. wide stand will be prepared for the presentation of your work at the exhibition. The title of the work, a description of the idea, and a link to the virtual exhibition booth will be designed and printed on the wall of the stand. Table (table top measurement 80×80 cm), 3-slot extension will be prepared for you in the stand. Wireless KTU internet will be available also.
We recommend to demonstrate the created prototype at the exhibition, to have a laptop to demonstrate visualizations and other visual materials.
Textual information from registration form will be used for the virtual stand.
Visual material complementing description of your work – visualizations, drawings, screenshots, photos from the product development process, the logo of the implemented project program, etc. – may be displayed in virtual booth. Suitable .png, .jpg formats. Image lengths (height, width) must be divisible by 4, but not necessarily equal.
A video of the presentation of the idea will also be presented on the virtual stand. The organizers of the exhibition will take care of the filming of the presentation video.
All TECHNORAMA exhibitors compete for the title of the most innovative solution with the greatest commercial potential and Kaunas University of technology Rectors prize.
A number of TECHNORAMA partners establish special prizes for the participants. The winners will be selected and awarded with cash prizes by a competent commission made up of representatives of partners, business and science. The estimated cash prize fund is about 15 000 euros (the amount is constantly growing)*.
Winners who have not established a legal entity will be invited to continue developing the idea at the KTU Startup Space Incubator. The prize of the Vice-Rector of Kaunas University of Technology will go to the leader of the KTU student team, a group of young researchers who have prepared the biggest number of the teams for the TECHNORAMA exhibition.

|The need||The relevance of the problem that is bieign solved is assessed – is the idea, solution being developed help to solve a relevant problem of society.||
|Impact, value created||Value created, benefit for society is evaluated – whether an idea, solution being developed is useful and valuable to people, businesses, society, city, region, country (ies), contributing to the solution of the identified problem.||
|Potential||Uniqueness, quality, novelty, competitive advantage, development and commercialization potential, feasibility of the solution developed.||
|Presentation||The presentation of the idea, solution in the exhibition is evaluated – whether the presentation is clear, comprehensive (problem solved revealed, solution, commercialization potential presented – market, competitive environment, possible business model, current idea development achievements, future plans, solution development team presented), smooth, inclusive?||
|Completeness on a practical level||The technological completeness of the implementation of the idea is assessed. Is a prototype created, already running? Will the product be user-friendly for the end user? How and to what extent is product design developed?||
Each criterion is rated on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 means poor and 10 means excellent.
Technorama is bringing together innovators – students, science representatives, and new technology enthusiasts, business representatives and investors – in one place.
Knowledge. In preparation for participation in the exhibition, you will gain knowledge of effective presentation of the idea, and will receive questions and advices from the participants of the exhibition, which will help to develop your idea further.
Valuable contacts and feedback. The most famous names of Lithuanian innovations, business and science leaders in the jury of the exhibition. Each member of the jury gets acquainted with the work of the participants, so Technorama is the best place to get to get on investors’ radar, get leaders feedback and advice.
Dissemination. For a frequent Technorama participant, the exhibition becomes the first public presentation to the public. The exhibition is physically and virtually visited by several thousand spectators, and the content of Technorama reaches hundreds of thousands on social media and national media – the dissemination is wide!
Your idea is presented in a live and virtual exhibition and in a digital catalogue of works.
Prize. Every year, the best-rated participants compete for a cash prize – sponsors contribute to it, and the KTU Rector’s Prize is established.
Idea presentation material. After the exhibition you will have pitch deck ready and you will receive a video of the presentation of your idea.
Certificate confirming participation in the exhibition. Each member of the team participating in the exhibition will get a certificate confirming participation in the exhibition. According to your university’s rules, participating in an innovation exhibition and presenting your idea can add extra points toward a scholarship.
