The Music Game

Introducing the music game for Android tablets, designed to introduce players to the national music of Lithuania. The content consists of four games, a control panel and an Android application for updating control panel settings and game content.

Control panel is used for uploading pictures and sounds, creating the descriptions of the instruments and the content of the game, uploading the instruments, settings and viewing the statistics of the game. Control panel makes game upgrade easier when the museum wants to add new instruments, change their description add or change the content of the game.

The game called “Quiz” consists of 10 textual or musical questions. If a musical question is presented, the player can listen to the sound by clicking on the sound icon. Answer variants are the musical instruments depicted in the image with the titles.

The game called “Kapela” (meaning a group of people, similar to a choir) consists of 4 periods for which the player has to assign the appropriate musical instruments. For example, if the player chooses the beginning of 21 century, the player then can choose any instrument and listen to the soundtrack on the phone or other device that has Internet access and a browser. An informational message is displayed before the game starts.

The game “The Construction of a Musical Instrument” allows the player to see how the musical instruments are made. The player must place parts of the instrument in the right places.

The category “History of Musical Instruments” provides information on musical instruments, allows you to listen to their sounds, see what they look like. This category consists of 4 groups of instruments: String instruments that can be divided into plucked and bowed instruments, percussion, bellows and others.
