At KTU National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre (KTU NIEC) on May 19 will start a traditional event “Technorama 2016”. It is a fiesta for science and innovations’ fans, which brings together more and more visitors and in this year it promises to astonish event visitors even more.

“Your business marathon – Technorama 2016” visitors will be able to attend lectures, to watch a unique opening ceremony where technologies and art will merge; also they will be able to see a presentation of a smart electric car charging station “SmartChargeBox“. The latter event is a product suggested by a member of KTU “Startup Space”, which collaborates with “KIC Inno energy” organization and plans to expand his activity, to conquer Baltic’s region.

On May 18, before “Technorama”, practical trainings will start for everyone which wants to represent their ideas. This is a practical seminar with “KIC Inno energy” organization representatives. Inconvenient questions from investors, critical situations, and stage fright – all this will be discussed and will be offered practical advices. The seminar will be free so not only researchers and start-ups, which are preparing for “Technorama”, can participate here, but also anyone who is interested can take part in.

Although the event will start only in May, the preparation began in 2015. Two free events, which were created for entrepreneurship promotion and generation of new ideas, attracted at the “Santaka” Valley a large crowd of curious visitors. The first lecture “Do not wait for tomorrow, create business today” presented funding opportunities for young innovators, which still hesitate to establish individual business or not.

The second lecture “Does a hobby can become a business?” was with a writer Mantvydas Leknickas and KTU “Startup Space” alumni “SEO Hellis”. They told their stories of success funny and comprehensively, identified the key obstacles which are commonly found in business developing and believing in an idea.
