Successful start – half the battle: recommendations for project submission

„TECHNORAMA 2015“ – an exhibition/competition for young scientists’, organized since 2002 by Kaunas  University of Technology  (KTU), this year becomes international.  Every year 50-70 innovative student’s  projects compete for the prize fund as well as investors attention. To help you start with the right foot we prepared useful  recommendations for project submission.

Entries should be presented till May 14th through the application form.

Your success in the project highly depends on how you prepare your project description.  By presenting your project well you have a chance of getting more points in the first stage of evaluation!

Recommendations for project submission:

  • Use the APPLICATION FORM for your entry and fill in all the needed information.
  • Be as clear and concise when writing your description, avoid too many details.
  • Your description must be short and clear, around 100 – 200 words.
  • You will find the criteria for evaluation below, be sure to use that as a guidance for your description.
  • Don’t forget to illustrate your description to make it more appealing. Feel free to use good quality pictures, graphs, etc. in PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, PDF formats, up to 300 DPI.

Your work will be evaluated by qualified committee, which consists of science and business organisations and investor companies. Committee will choose not only the most innovative project, but also pick projects for special prizes as well as invest in them.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Originality of the idea –  you will be evaluated on how original, new, exclusive your idea is;
  • Innovation – you will be evaluated on how unique is your project among analogues;
  • Perfecting the project –  you will be evaluated on how full and perfected your work is, as well as whether it delivers expected results;
  • Practical application – evaluation of results application in practice;
  • Presentation quality – your projects presentation is assessed, as well as originality of unfolding your idea before and during the exhibition.
