EVALUATION CRITERIA WHAT IS BEING EVALUATED? EVALUATION SCALE / DESCRIPTION
Problem relevance The problem that is being addressed by the proposed solution and its relevance. The project idea addresses a highly relevant problem for the society, and significantly contributes to reaching a solution.
Value for wider society Value and benefits of the proposed solution for the wider society. The project idea is highly beneficial and valuable for the society and/or city. This project idea can serve as the basis for future projects.
Project description completeness The completeness and fluency of the proposed solution. The project idea is described in detail, all relevant aspects are revealed. The description text is smooth and easily understood.
Originality, fluency and visualisation of the Solution Originality and fluency of the presentation of the proposed solution; visualisation originality, creativity. The project idea is original; and is presented clearly and smoothly. Authors of the idea are capable of engaging the audience. Project idea‘s visual presentation is delivered in an original, creative manner using various media. Presentation attracts attention.
Completeness of the project idea Technical implementation of the idea, its completeness and practical applicability. If the project presentation has a prototype or an early version of the final product that is based on the actual underlying technology; or if the project presentation includes the developed solution, up to 10 additional points can be awarded.

Lithuanian and foreign investors, and representatives of business companies attending this exhibition will select the most innovative works and invest in them or award special prizes.

Competent commission consisting of the representatives of business and science will select the best works and award them monetary prizes (estimated monetary fund – approximately 5000 EUR*).

Your innovation will be presented to almost 10000 visitors of the virtual exhibition and information about you will be published in the media, on the event’s website and social media.

Dissemination of information at the national level will help to spread information about your innovation, promote active communication in the public and among the young scientists.

Qualified specialists will help the authors of the ideas to prepare for an effective presentation of their technology to the public, business, investors under a short mentorship programme at the early stage start-up incubator KTU “StartupSpace“.
