The first electronic pulse generator in Lithuania, which enables to change the structure of biological tissues, thereby preserving the quality of vegetable raw materials, is the product created by Justinas Barakauskas, a PhD student from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), and his colleague Mindaugas Visockis. This technology could be used in the meat industry, wine making process, and also in other areas.

Unique invention “Innovative research system for peripheral vestibular function testing creation – INTVEST” created by Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) is aiming to be patented. It is expected that the innovative device, which was firstly introduced at the annual KTU innovation fair “Technorama 2016” will hit the market soon.

Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) received special attention at the contest “Technorama 2016” – they both combined their forces and created a unique invention called “Innovative research system for peripheral vestibular function testing creation – INTVEST”. The innovation was presented in a category of health sciences by LSMU prof. Ingrida Ulozienė, and now it is successfully entering the market, as well as achieving the aim to get a patent.
